Playoff Explanation

Hi Everyone, and welcome to the FBCGE Fantasy Football Blog Site.  This is just a quick explanation about the playoffs.  ALL teams will be included in the playoffs, with the addition of a consolation bracket.

Since everyone seems to be having a good time with this, the league managers decided to create the consolation bracket to keep as many people involved as long as possible during the season.

So, there will be two playoff brackets, the championship bracket and the consolation bracket.  The playoffs will begin after week # 12 (this week), and culminate with both final round games being played the 16th week of the season.

CHAMPIONSHIP BRACKET:
The championship bracket will contain the top 16 teams, determined descending by record, points scored, and then points against.  After week 11, the teams that would be included are the following:

So, for those of you that aren't currently included in the Championship bracket, you have one game left to get across that goal line.  The 'Previous' column indicates the previous weeks ranking based on previously mentioned criteria.

Below is the championship bracket.  This will be updated along with the consolation bracket (shown further down) every week after the final game and posted on this blog site.

CONSOLATION BRACKET:
The consolation bracket will contain the bottom 14 teams, determined descending by record, points scored, and then points against.  After week 11, the teams that would be included are the following:

The parenthesis by your rank indicates your seed in the consolation bracket.  The top two seeds will receive a bye week.

Below is the consolation bracket.  This will be updated along with the championship bracket (shown above) every week after the final game and posted on this blog site.
